Where competent, independent financial analysis is required, Forensic Accountants are to be found undertaking investigative, consulting and reporting roles. Not all Forensic Accountants undertake assignments in all areas. Specialisation within the industry sector may deliver a higher degree of service than across the board generalisation. That said, most experienced Forensic Accountants have a wider rather than narrow breadth of experience to ensure a high level of client service delivery. Some areas of the professional still remain narrow however; Computer Forensic Data Recovery and Analysis being a prime example.
